In this course, which is authorized by the Japan Accreditation Board for Engineering
Education (JABEE), students can learn material processing of both, structural as well as
functional materials. After examination, the qualification certificate of the Materials Science
Engineer Course is approved in many countries world-wide.
２．Course for Engineer in Structural Materials Focused on
Aerospace Applications
This course focus on materials which composes an aircraft or space shuttle. The
students learn about light metals, aircraft engine materials or composite materials which
receive their high strength and special properties form carbon fibers.
３．Course for Engineer in Functional Materials Focused on
Superconductivity
Students in this course can learn about new materials such as superconductors, fine
ceramics and others. Understanding is deepened about their special properties and the
phenomenon behind advanced materials and key technology materials, such as magnetic
materials, shape-memory alloys and others.
